Have you ever wondered who your Highest Self is? That's what we're talking about today and it's a topic that really lights me up!
Your Highest Self is the spiritual, calm, aware, whole and loving guide within. The high-vibe version of you that you're really destined to be. The wise guide inside that knows your purpose in life and wants to help you shine your light.
So, how do you connect with that powerful part of you?
Well, the truth is, there is no separation between you and your Highest Self. You’re one and the same, always connected. This is what yoga teaches us.
But with all the noise, chaos and distractions of the outer world, we can become disconnected.
The simplest way to activate this innate connection is by sitting still. All of the practices I share here can guide you into a more receptive state of being.
Your Highest Self communicates with you all the time through your imagination, meditations, dreams, oracle cards and other signs. But are you paying attention? You can think of this part of you like the bridge between the material and the mystical.
When you're connected, you:
* Feel like life has meaning and purpose.
* See obstacles as opportunities for growth.
* Are empowered, co-creating your dreams with the Universe.
* See miracles as real.
* Feel calm, supported and inspired.
* Relate more deeply to others.
* Realise that you’re never alone.
But when you're out of alignment, there are ways that you can re-establish that connection.
Anything that unites the mind, body and soul makes it easy for us to tap into our Highest Self. Think like yoga, meditation, breathwork, journalling, prayer or being in nature.
Anything that you love where you’re in creation mode or using your gifts, like speaking, singing, writing, or making art.
It could be nourishing yourself through food, or physical movement.
It could be through the work you’re called to do in the world, making money and manifesting.
These are all tools you can use to access your Highest Self.
There’s a lot of pressure to label ourselves or fit into boxes these days, but our Highest Self is our true self. We’re like multifaceted crystals. So, if you’re feeling out of alignment with your highest self, or like your vibration is low, take action to connect to a part of you that feels like home. What makes you feel joyful and alive? What lights you up?
Take a moment now to think about the things you love. They’re in your heart and soul for a reason.
Do they make you feel excited, radiant and full of energy? Or do they make you feel still, serene, calm and present? Both are expressions of your Highest Self.
After you’ve listened to this episode, maybe sit in stillness and meditate, or journal on this. Write a list - I love lists - so you always have something to come back to when you’re feeling out of alignment and need to remember.
Your life will take on a whole new meaning - and possibly a whole new direction as you strengthen your connection with your Highest Self. Let this relationship point you toward your highest alignment. You'll flow through life in a much lighter and more joyful way.
