Let Your Energy Flow: A Meditation to Balance Your Chakras

According to the yogis, the subtle body is where your energy flows. Within it are seven centres of energy, located along the length of the spine, known as chakras. They’re like little wheels of energy and when they become blocked, this can trigger physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual imbalances.

In this meditation, we’ll balance the chakras by using a body scan, where we’ll envision the different parts of the body where each energy centre is located, as well as the colour and mantra associated with it.

All you need to do is find a comfortable seat on the floor, and if you like, you can elevate your seat on a blanket or a block so you can sit up tall through your spine, or you can sit in a chair with your feet planted firmly on the ground. 

Once you’re settled there, go ahead and close your eyes, and let’s meditate together.
